Caramel pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Caramel in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
If you are looking at caramel in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Caramel sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Caramel in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested caramel in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.02 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should caramel start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
How long does caramel in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
