Mango box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Mango in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What mango costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Mango prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.06 per 10 ml.
The short version: mango in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mango box mod really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on mango: 16 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested mango in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a mango bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mango bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where mango goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.06 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mango tastes flat after two days.
