Vanilla pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Vanilla in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with vanilla in New Caledonia
Vanilla in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you are looking at vanilla in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla pod kit really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on vanilla: 12 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On vanilla the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.93 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does vanilla in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
