Vanilla pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Vanilla in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with vanilla in New Caledonia
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.52 per 10 ml.
Vanilla pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: vanilla in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla pen device really costs in Nouméa
A vanilla pen device from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
