Vanilla 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Vanilla in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 6 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the vanilla habit
A vanilla 60 ml bottle from the bulk options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.11 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run vanilla the same way in Nouméa: same 60 ml bottle, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the 60 ml bottle you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.11 per 10 ml.
How we tested vanilla in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
How long does vanilla in a 60 ml bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
