What tropical costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The honest read on tropical: 21 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.51 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.51 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF30 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.51 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
