How we tested Tropical sub-ohm kit here
Tropical in Nouméa reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on tropical: 14 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
