What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
A tropical pen device from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.71 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Tropical in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical pen device really costs in Nouméa
A tropical pen device from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.71 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
