Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
If you are looking at tropical in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run tropical the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical pen device really costs in Nouméa
We run tropical the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tropical in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF28 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.17 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Nouméa survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
