Tropical 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Tropical in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a 30 ml shortfill running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run tropical the same way in Nouméa: same 30 ml shortfill, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: tropical in Nouméa works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested tropical in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tropical in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.33 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
