Tobacco nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Tobacco in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 9 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good nicotine salt bottle from a repack
Tobacco prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.01 per 10 ml.
The honest read on tobacco: 12 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 12 units, nicotine salt bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tobacco nicotine salt bottle really costs in Nouméa
Tobacco sounds like one product. It is not: a nicotine salt bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested tobacco in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a tobacco bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.01 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should tobacco start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
How long does tobacco in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
