Sweet cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Sweet in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 7 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Sweet cartomizer here
If you are looking at sweet in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Sweet in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long sweet tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sweet cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested sweet in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sweet in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.11 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF31 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
