Sweet 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Sweet in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 7 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good 30 ml shortfill from a repack
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: sweet in Nouméa works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sweet 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on sweet: 18 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sweet in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a sweet bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sweet bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sweet goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.41 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sweet taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sweet blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should sweet start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 30 ml shortfill.
How much does a 30 ml shortfill cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.41 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
