How we tested Spiced sub-ohm kit here
The honest read on spiced: 10 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run spiced the same way in Nouméa: same sub-ohm kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a spiced sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested spiced in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why spiced tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.4 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long spiced in Nouméa survives.
