Spiced pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Spiced in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 5 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good pod kit from a repack
A spiced pod kit from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.79 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Spiced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.79 per 10 ml.
The short version: spiced in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

How we tested spiced in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a spiced bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing spiced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for spiced in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
