Spiced pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Spiced in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Spiced is allowed to say
The honest read on spiced: 22 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Spiced in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long spiced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested spiced in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where spiced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.77 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.77 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF42 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does spiced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the spiced blend itself harsh.
