Sourcherry starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Sourcherry in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 7 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a starter kit for sourcherry
If you are looking at sourcherry in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.71 per 10 ml.
The short version: sourcherry in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry starter kit really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on sourcherry: 18 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested sourcherry in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sourcherry in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here

On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.71 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
