Coil life, liquid cost and the sourcherry habit
Sourcherry sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run sourcherry the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long sourcherry tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sourcherry prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at sourcherry in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sourcherry in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing sourcherry with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
