Sourcherry prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Sourcherry in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What sourcherry costs in Nouméa
We run sourcherry the same way in Nouméa: same prefilled pod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Sourcherry sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: sourcherry in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Sourcherry prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sourcherry in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a prefilled pod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Treating the advertised XPF53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.81 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.

Frequently asked questions
How long does sourcherry in a prefilled pod last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.81 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF53 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
