Sourcherry box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Sourcherry in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What sourcherry costs in Nouméa
Sourcherry box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: sourcherry in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sourcherry box mod really costs in Nouméa
Sourcherry prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.13 per 10 ml.
How we tested sourcherry in a box mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a sourcherry bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.13 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.13 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF55 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sourcherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.13 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
