Sour vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the sour habit
Sour in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: sour in Nouméa works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour vape pen really costs in Nouméa
Sour vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested sour in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where sour goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.32 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF67 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
