Sour sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 4 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a sub-ohm kit for sour
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.86 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: sour in Nouméa works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
A sour sub-ohm kit from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.86 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.86 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.

How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.86 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF56 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
