Sour sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 2 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Sour is allowed to say
The honest read on sour: 19 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: sour in Nouméa works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
Sour in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sour in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.47 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
