Sour starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with sour in New Caledonia
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour starter kit really costs in Nouméa
A sour starter kit from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.44 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.44 per 10 ml.
