Sour in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 3 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Sour in Nouméa reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
We run sour the same way in Nouméa: same squonk mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.23 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Nouméa survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
