Sour refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 8 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good refill pack from a repack
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.19 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.19 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sour the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.19 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
