Sour cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 7 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What sour costs in Nouméa
Sour cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 19 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Sour in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.59 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sour bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a sour bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
