Sour 10 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Sour in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, 10 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Sour sounds like one product. It is not: a 10 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on sour: 13 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: sour in Nouméa works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a sour 10 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.13 per 10 ml.
How we tested sour in a 10 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the 10 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sour goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.13 per 10 ml.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
