Salted zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Salted in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 7 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Salted in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you are looking at salted in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on salted: 12 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF46 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.17 per 10 ml.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here

New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Is salted legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
How much does a zero-nicotine bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.17 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF46 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
