Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Salted vape pen reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A salted vape pen from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.45 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, vape pen, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted vape pen really costs in Nouméa
We run salted the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a vape pen
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a vape pen that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a vape pen and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
Is salted legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.45 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
