Salted in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with salted in New Caledonia
Salted in Nouméa reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Salted squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested salted in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.77 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does salted in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
