Salted refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 9 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.96 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the refill pack you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted refill pack really costs in Nouméa
We run salted the same way in Nouméa: same refill pack, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.96 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the refill pack units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.96 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
