Salted RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Salted is allowed to say
If you are looking at salted in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted RDA really costs in Nouméa
A salted RDA from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.72 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
How long does salted in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 7 to 7 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
