Salted prefilled pod IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Salted in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Salted is allowed to say
A salted prefilled pod from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.3 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Salted prefilled pod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted prefilled pod really costs in Nouméa
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested salted in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.3 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
