Salted pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
The honest read on salted: 19 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted pen device really costs in Nouméa
We run salted the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.86 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.86 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
