Salted nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosnewcaledonia
Salted in Nouméa: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
We run salted the same way in Nouméa: same nicotine salt bottle, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Salted in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted nicotine salt bottle really costs in Nouméa
Salted in Nouméa reaches the shelf in nicotine salt bottle formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested salted in a nicotine salt bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a nicotine salt bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a nicotine salt bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a nicotine salt bottle.
Is salted legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
