Salted mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What salted costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Salted in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested salted in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where salted goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Treating the advertised XPF65 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.88 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
