Salted cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 18 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the salted habit
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Salted cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 18 units, cartomizer, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
A salted cartomizer from the online options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.75 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where salted goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.
