Salted 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with salted in New Caledonia
We run salted the same way in Nouméa: same 60 ml bottle, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, 60 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
A salted 60 ml bottle from the value options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.74 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a 60 ml bottle
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.74 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest 60 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Is salted legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a 60 ml bottle.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 60 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
