Salted 60 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Salted in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 4 weeks, 60 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good 60 ml bottle from a repack
Salted sounds like one product. It is not: a 60 ml bottle running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.86 per 10 ml.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Salted 60 ml bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested salted in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
