How we tested Salted 10 ml bottle here
The honest read on salted: 22 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: salted in Nouméa works if the 10 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted 10 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Salted in Nouméa reaches the shelf in 10 ml bottle formats, and the online ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested salted in a 10 ml bottle
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for 10 ml bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where salted goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.72 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why salted tastes flat after two days.
