Where buyers go wrong with plum in New Caledonia
If you are looking at plum in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Plum zero-nicotine bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 11 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, zero-nicotine bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested plum in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where plum goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a zero-nicotine bottle.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.06 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
