How we tested Plum zero-nicotine bottle here
The honest read on plum: 19 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.33 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the zero-nicotine bottle you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested plum in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plum goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a zero-nicotine bottle.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
