Plum starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Plum is allowed to say
Plum in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum starter kit really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at plum in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plum in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.22 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Nouméa survives.
