Plum RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Plum in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: plum in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum RDA really costs in Nouméa
Plum RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plum in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 15 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.03 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.03 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF57 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is plum legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
