Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
A plum pod kit from the discounted options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.99 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: plum in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum pod kit really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested plum in a pod kit
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where plum goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.99 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
How long does plum in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is plum legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit.
