Plum pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 23 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Plum pen device here
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Plum in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Below is the run we did for this search: 23 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum pen device really costs in Nouméa
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested plum in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where plum goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.75 per 10 ml.
