Plum mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the wholesale shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a mesh tank for plum
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the bulk ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.4 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 19 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on plum: 19 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plum goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How long does plum in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
