Plum mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Plum is allowed to say
We run plum the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.91 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Plum sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested plum in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where plum goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.91 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
