Plum box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Plum in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 2 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Plum in Nouméa reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The honest read on plum: 11 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum box mod really costs in Nouméa
A plum box mod from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.87 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 11 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing plum with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF1.87 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does plum taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plum blend itself harsh.
